Quote of the day: The refinish job on this gun was accomplished by someone who knew what they were doing. Not done by some chucklehead with a $6 bottle of cold blue. The pictures show where it's been buffed and polished and where some pitting had been removed. Gunbroker.com

Kel-Tec PMR 30 Reviews

Leave it to Kel-Tec to come up with this awesome 30-round .22 magnum semi-auto pistol. Reviews have been favorable, resulting in a very hard-to find item. A search on Gunbroker brings up only a few, all of them bid up past the $450.00 mark.
$415.00
The PMR-30 is a light weight, full size pistol chambered for the flat-shooting .22Magnum cartridge (.22WMR). The PMR-30 operates on a unique hybrid blowback/locked-breech system. This operation system allows for the use of a wide variety of ammunition as it seamlessly adjusts between locked breach and blowback operation, depending on the pressure of the cartridge. It uses a double stack magazine of a new design that holds 30 rounds and fits completely in the grip of the pistol. The trigger is a crisp single action with an over-travel stop. The manual safety is a thumb activated ambidextrous safety lever (up for SAFE, down for FIRE). The slide locks back after the last shot and a manual slide lock lever is also provided. The light, crisp trigger pull and fiber optic sights make the PMR-30 ideal for target shooting and hunting small game. - Kel-Tec

Dan Wesson Find

I got lucky at an estate sale last week and scored this early Monson model Dan Wesson .357:

4 Interchangeable Barrel Lengths equals Max. Versatility

I'm thinking I got lucky because the gun was completely in parts in the original case, which was somewhat beat-up. Everyone except myself must have thought it was junk.

I should have this listed on Gunbroker.com by next week. So if you want to find gun bargains in these difficult times, I highly recommend going to estate sales! Be sure and bring your smart-phone, so you can look up values for anything you're considering bidding on.
